认识她的歌，还是从王菲开始的。那个远古时代，还很喜欢淘打口碟，无意之间发现了她。在中国这个民主的社会主义国度，能够有幸听到西方优秀的音乐，对于普通平民来说，恐怕也就只有打口了。那些卖打口的小商贩，俨然承载着一个民族的音乐梦想，即使他们连英文都认识不了几个。

打口是垃圾，应该送去销毁，我们买的就是这种“垃圾”。王菲的翻唱让自己出了名，也让我们认识了Cocteau twins，The cranberries，Tori amos等好多好多另类女歌手。她们决不是歌坛的花瓶，而是主流。Tori amos采用钢琴作为主要伴奏乐器，简单而婉约，加上天籁般的嗓音和漂亮的外表，使得她的音乐像毒药，自杀的时候痛并快乐着。

Tori amos原名Myra ellen amos，是个不幸的女人，也是个坚强的女人。我尊敬她：）
